Plans being finalised for re-opening of seven county waste sites

The county council is putting the finishing touches to its plans to re-open seven of its recycling and household waste sites next week.

The selected sites will open seven days a week to county residents - with a booked appointment only - from Monday, 18th May. They are at Barwell, Lount, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Mountsorrel, Oadby and Whetstone.

Temporary Closure of Station Lane, Kirby Bellars

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Station Lane Kirby Bellars.

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Network Rail to undertake annual level crossing tests.

The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure. The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 1 day only commencing on the 28th June 2020 (06:30am – 14:00pm).

Changes to Bus Services Arriva 5/5A/X5
